CLOSING EVENT OF 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLANCE
In the closing event of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence on 10 December 2024, AVEGA Agahozo, in partnership with the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women, has made a transformative impact by providing 114 sewing machines to teenage mothers across five districts in Rwanda: Rwamagana, Nyagatare, Bugesera, Gasabo, and Gatsibo.
This initiative marks a significant step toward empowering young women to create sustainable livelihoods and break the cycle of poverty.
