AVEGA’s Social Protection Program is dedicated to improving the well-being of vulnerable members, particularly widows of the Genocide against the Tutsi and older persons, by providing comprehensive support across several key areas. This program addresses the critical challenges our members face and helps to ensure they have access to essential resources for a better quality of life.

AVEGA offers a range of livelihood interventions that address the basic needs of our members, including assistance with hardship, nutrition, , health insurance, income-generating activities (IGAs), and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs).
