The #SUNCASA project launches in Kigali! Together with our partners, we’re championing GESI(Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) principles to ensure the Nature-based Solutions (NbS) outcomes are equitable benefiting by all. 
SUNCASA aims to the implementation of gender-responsive Nature-based Solutions (NbS) will strengthen the resilience of urban communities, watersheds, and biodiversity to the impacts of climate change, while reducing the barriers to NbS participation of women and other vulnerable groups. Designed and implemented in collaboration with City of Kigali, Rwanda Forest Authority and partner organizations ARCOS Network, AVEGA Agahozo and Rwanda Young Water Professionals
SUNCASA will make a significant contributions to the #IgitiCyanjye campaign , initiated by the City of Kigali , planting near 3 million trees by 2026. in addition, the project will empower and create green jobs for 5000 individuals.
